Milwaukee Campus

  • Computer Labs- The Daniel M. Soref Learning Commons contains the largest computer lab on campus (200 computers). Lab computers in the Learning commons require UWM log-in credentials
  • Laptops-Laptops are available for 7 day loans to UWM students, staff, and faculty. You can check out a laptop at the Equipment and Reserve Desk in the lower level of the library. Laptop loans are subject to late fines and cannot be renewed.
  • Public Computers- There are 5 public-access PC computer stations in the Grind Coffee area of the Learning Commons as well.The Learning Commons is located on the first floor, west wing of the Golda Meir Library. Public patrons can use these computers to access library databases and subscription content that is otherwise only available to UWM students, staff, and faculty.

Waukesha Campus

Computers in the library available for student use include:

  • 26 desktops in the main part of the library
  • 40 desktops in the library classroom (L108) when instruction classes are not being held
  • 6 laptops available for check out
