The Golda Meir Library building, its material collections, and selected research computers (which provide access to our online collections) are open to the general public. After 11PM, a current UWM ID (PantherCard) is required for entrance. See the hours page for more information.

A current UWM account (ePanther ID) is required to use most of the computers, and to check out materials. Osher Lifelong Learning members, Milwaukee area school teachers, University of Wisconsin-affiliated individuals, and MPS High School Honors Students may also check out books.

Only current UWM students, staff, and faculty (including emeriti) can access our electronic subscription resources off-campus.

Anyone may also join the community borrowing program, which includes circulation privileges with membership. Additionally, materials may be requested via your local library's interlibrary loan service.
