General Collection

The UWM Libraries have a small variety of graphic novels and comics that can be checked out. These books can be found by searching by title in Search@UW and are mostly shelved under literature in the PN section. Most graphic novels for adults have Library of Congress call numbers starting with PN 6700. If you're unable to find a title you're looking for, you can request graphic novels from other UW System libraries or through Interlibrary Loan.

Curriculum Collection (2nd Floor, East wing Golda Meir Library)

The graphic novels for children and young adults are interfiled with the rest of Curriculum Collection books. If a book is non-fiction, then it will be with its corresponding subject. Fiction graphic novels are shelved by author just like other fiction books. Look for a red (fiction) or green (non-fiction) sticker on the spine that says graphic novel.
