Where are the collections of Fairy Tales?
The Curriculum Collection includes children’s and young adult fiction and non-fiction, PK-12 textbooks, and reference books. These materials are shelved on the 2nd floor, East wing of the UWM Library.
Answer
Children's and Young Adult books are part of the Curriculum Collection. Some of the books in this collection are shelved using the Dewey Decimal System call numbers.
Collections Fairy Tales are generally located in the 398s in the non-fiction section, but individual tales will be located in the appropriate area. For example: picture book versions of a single Hans Christian Anderson story will be in the Picture Book section using Anderson's "shelf number" of A544, or if we have Board Book it will be in the corresponding spot there.
